On June 2, 2023, the rector of Gulistan State Pedagogical Institute v.v.b. A. Qalandarov held talks with D. Rahmatova, head of the regional department of the Deaf Society of Uzbekistan, Sirdarya region, and a memorandum of agreement was signed.
The purpose of this memorandum is to solve the problems of the population with hearing and speech impairments, to meet their needs, and to organize the training of healthy children of families with hearing and speech impairments in the field of sign interpreting in mutual cooperation.
