Father Bektursin, who turned 97 years old, lives today in Mukumi neighborhood of Gulistan city, and lives with his children, grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
 During the meeting, the war and labor veteran talked about bitter memories of the Second World War. At the same time, he emphasized that it is everyone's duty to appreciate today's peaceful and free time.
