HISTORY IS NOT FORGOTTEN, MEMORY EDUCATES GENERATIONS

🤩A spiritual and educational roundtable discussion on the topic “Memory and Education” was held at the Gulistan State Pedagogical Institute with the participation of students from the Faculty of Language Teaching.

During the event, Kh. Urmonov, an employee of the Museum of Victims of Repression of the Sirdaryo region, delivered a lecture on the lives and fates of the victims of repression and the difficult trials our people have endured. Through historical events, issues of human destiny, national memory, and responsibility to future generations were highlighted.

During the conversation, special attention was paid to honoring the memory of ancestors, studying their lives and activities, and conveying historical truth to the younger generation. It was emphasized that for future educators, this knowledge is of great importance in raising youth in the spirit of loyalty to the Motherland, respect for national values, and a sense of belonging to history.

Preserving the memory of ancestors begins with knowing their fate and passing on the lessons of history to future generations.
