Minister of Higher Education, Science and Innovation Ibrahim Abdurahmanov:

- As a result of the reforms carried out over the last 6 years, significant progress has been made in terms of increasing the quality and convenience of education, as well as increasing the effectiveness of the personnel training system in line with the needs of our country's economy. Effective mechanisms for the support and development of scientific and innovative activities in all areas, as well as the formation and further improvement of the innovative potential of our country have been developed and are being updated.

Significant results have been achieved in recent years. In particular, Uzbekistan rose by 40 places compared to 2015 in the ranking of the Global Innovation Index and took the 82nd place in 2022.

In 2019-2022, higher education institutions and scientific organizations commercialized 627 projects worth $40.4 million, produced products worth $31.6 million, sold products worth $23.6 million, and provided services worth $7 million.
