Psychological service — an important support in adapting to a new environment

At the Gulistan State Pedagogical Institute, a psychological introductory meeting was organized within the framework of the "Freshman School", aimed at supporting the adaptation of 1st-year students to the higher education environment.

During the meeting, students were provided with detailed information about the areas of activity of the institute's psychological service, opportunities for using individual consultations and interviews, as well as the procedure for seeking psychological help. Practical recommendations were also presented on adapting to the new educational environment and team, managing stress and anxiety, maintaining internal stability, and strengthening self-confidence.

At the meeting, which was held in the form of an open dialogue, the issues of interest to the students were discussed in detail, and special attention was paid to the principles of confidentiality, trust, and professional approach in the activities of the psychological service.

This meeting creates an important foundation for first-year students to enter student life with confidence, adapt effectively to the new environment, and study in a healthy psychological atmosphere.
