From the beginning of this year, the second stage of administrative reforms began in Uzbekistan. As a result, the number of executive authorities subordinated to the government decreased from 61 to 28, including the number of ministries to 21. Instead of 8 deputies and 3 advisers of the Prime Minister, only 4 deputies remained in the government.
What is the structure of government in the countries of the world? We have shown it in #infographics on the example of individual countries.
According to the data, Iceland has one of the most compact governments: a female Prime Minister and 11 ministers (4 of them are also women). In Norway, the Prime Minister has 9 state secretaries and one political adviser, 18 ministers (half of them are women). Spain has 3 deputy prime ministers (all women), 22 ministers (12 women).
In most countries of the CIS and Central Asia, the gender composition of the government differs significantly: women are more likely to lead ministries of education, culture or health.
